The Aqua-Scope water monitor detects leaks by analyzing pressure waves in the water supply. It continuously records the temperature, and water pressure. When leaks are detected or when pressure or temperature thresholds are exceeded or not reached, the user is alerted wirelessly. An additional wired flood sensor can be connected directly to the device, triggering an alarm when water is detected. The device consists of two parts: Main Unit (Monitor): Detects water consumption and leaks by analyzing pressure waves; Records temperature, water consumption, and water pressure continuously; Wireless alerts for detected leaks or when pressure or temperature thresholds are exceeded or not reached; Option to connect an additional wired flood sensor directly to the device. Bridge between AQS-LoRa and Dry Contacts

The Dry Contact Controller connects wireless Aqua-Scope devices that are both controlled and controlling with the world of wired controls. With this device, it is possible to control an Aqua-Scope motor servo directly through a switch input. This switch input can be directly connected to an actuator of your alarm system or smart home system (Shelly, Z-Wave, Smartthings, Bosch, Homematic, ...). The Dry Contact Controller will transmit the information at the switch input wirelessly as a control signal to the motor. Conversely, a normal magnetic shut-off valve or a similar actuator can be controlled by the Aqua-Scope sensor/monitor using the Dry Contact Controller. The device requires a power supply, which can be provided through a regular 6...16 V AC connection, a USB-C power supply, or a 3 V battery. All connections, including switch inputs, switch outputs, and power supply, are connected via screw terminals. The button on the device can be used to test the quality of the wireless connection to or from the Aqua-Scope device.

Floodsensor-Cable

The wired flood sensor can be connected to all Aqua-Scope actuators, pressure sensors, and Aqua-Scope monitors through the respective 3.5 mm audio jack. At the end of the 138 cm long cable, there is a sensor head that detects water through two exposed electrodes and triggers an alarm accordingly. The sensor head can be optionally mounted on the wall or directly on the floor. It will function equally well on hard floors (tiles) as on carpeted floors and even on high-pile carpets. In this case, two spacers on the right and left can be removed, allowing the electrodes to securely reach the floor of the carpet and detect any form of water. This rain sensor measures the amount of rain at its location in milliliters using a tipping bucket mechanism and transmits the quantity within a 15-minute interval with an accuracy of 0.5 mm of water column, along with the temperature. In the case of heavy rain exceeding 15 l/h, a heavy rain alarm is triggered promptly. Both the heavy rain threshold and the measurement interval are configurable. The device is entirely open-source, and both hardware and firmware can be downloaded from https://github.com/aqua-scope/lorain. The product is delivered as a kit with a pre-assembled circuit board and casing. Various adapter rings and a sophisticated connection system enable the use of the motor on all modern angle seat valves from DN15 to DN32. Thanks to an additional water sensor that is directly connected to the device, the motor can be used for leak protection without further configuration. The servo motor is waterproof and can be used in damp, dirty, and outdoor environments. In the open state, the motor automatically conducts valve training once a week (closing/opening by 1/8 turn to remove dirt and scale). A wired leakage sensor can be directly connected to the device. If this sensor detects water, the valve is shut off. The device is controlled via local buttons and remotely using LoRaWAN commands and it operates as a LoRaWAN Class C device. The use of the device requires LoRaWAN network coverage. Otherwise, you need to install and operate your own LoRaWAN gateway. Water Leckage Sensor for LoRaWAN

The Aqua-Scope water monitor detects water consumption and leaks by analyzing pressure waves in the water supply. It continuously records the temperature, water consumption, and water pressure. When leaks are detected or when pressure or temperature thresholds are exceeded or not reached, the user is alerted wirelessly. An additional wired flood sensor can be connected directly to the device, triggering an alarm when water is detected. The device consists of two parts: Main Unit (Monitor): Detects water consumption and leaks by analyzing pressure waves; Records temperature, water consumption, and water pressure continuously; Wireless alerts for detected leaks or when pressure or temperature thresholds are exceeded or not reached; Option to connect an additional wired flood sensor directly to the device. External Sensor Head: Connected to the water pipe, installed somewhere in the building at a 1/8-inch inspection opening, or with a provided T-piece under any sink at the angle valve. Thanks to the excellent sound characteristics of water, a single sensor somewhere in the house is sufficient to detect water consumption and leaks throughout the entire building.
