The wired flood sensor can be connected to all Aqua-Scope actuators, pressure sensors, and Aqua-Scope monitors through the respective 3.5 mm audio jack. At the end of the 138 cm long cable, there is a sensor head that detects water through two exposed electrodes and triggers an alarm accordingly. The sensor head can be optionally mounted on the wall or directly on the floor. It will function equally well on hard floors (tiles) as on carpeted floors and even on high-pile carpets. In this case, two spacers on the right and left can be removed, allowing the electrodes to securely reach the floor of the carpet and detect any form of water.
