Retrofittable motor for ball valve - cable controlled

This motor upgrades existing and installed ball valves into intelligent water control devices. Thanks to its innovative clamping mechanism, it can be installed and removed within minutes on shut-off valves with a pipe diameter between 0.5 and 1.5 inches, without the need for additional tools. A patented coupling mechanism allows for torques of up to 8 Nm, ensuring operation even with rusty and old valves.

The servo motor is completely waterproof and dirt-resistant up to the power supply unit and can be used in damp, dirty, and outdoor environments. When open, the motor automatically performs a valve training cycle once a week (opening and closing by 1/8 of a turn to remove dirt and limescale).

The device is controlled via a 120 cm long, supplied two-wire cable that connects directly to the motor. This cable can be connected to any relay or other potential-free switch. A closed switch closes the valve, an open switch opens the valve. Potential-free switching contacts are available in most smart home systems (Shelly, Z-Wave, SmartThings, Bosch, Homematic, etc.) or alarm systems. If a switching contact cannot be installed near the shut-off valve, the two-wire cable can be extended wirelessly. The corresponding product is BVSDRY02.
