The wired flood sensor can be connected to all Aqua-Scope actuators, pressure sensors and Aqua-Scope monitors via the existing 3.5mm jack socket.
At the end of the 138 cm long cable is a sensor head that uses two exposed electrodes to detect water and trigger an alarm. The sensor head can be screwed to the wall or directly onto the floor. It will function just as well on hard floors (tiles) as on carpet, and even on high-pile carpet. In the latter case, two spacers on the left and right can be removed so that the electrodes reach all the way to the carpet fibers and detect any form of water.
